Last week's roundup: Farm Thoughts

Monday: Don’t let unpredictable outcomes dissuade you from investing in your thing. Invest more! More time. More attempts. More often. Some will germinate, but there’s no way of knowing which ones.

Tuesday: If you want your thing, your project, your undertaking to “wow” you, yelling at it to “Hurry up!" won’t work. Plug away. One day. Then two. Do the work, day in and day out. You’ll be surprised by the growth when you look at the before-and-after pictures.

Wednesday: What we gaze at, fixate on, stare at, spend our time looking toward: that’s where we end up going, despite logic, critical thinking, or even our own best interest.

Thursday: Without health, continual growth, and resilience, people like us that are unwilling to continue in ways like this, will cave to the criticism, be drained by the naysayers, or get derailed by distractions.

Friday: Being productive, contrary to popular belief, is not being busy, but instead requires, first, un-busy-ing oneself, and then investing one’s time and resources well.

Saturday: Compromise is not what we do on our way to giving up; it’s what we do to bide our time and still be productive until we innovate and move ever more closely to our ideals, principles, and convictions.
