Practicing Faith

[Coronavirus – X]

Crisis is the best time to ask. Not the moment before crisis, or in the early stages of a crisis . . . but deep in crisis, when the prospects of going back are gone:

Have our communities of faith shaped people that talk about the future or live the future now?

Have our churches equipped us for thinking about being different or being substantially different?

Have our support groups, small groups, theology groups, and youth groups built a dictionary of jargon or built different lives?

Talking about being people of faith is easy.
Talking about the practicalities of being people of faith is a little more challenging.
Doing faith is hard!

Crisis has no patience for talk.
Crisis needs practitioners.
